Hey Manspeak Nation,

My name is Caleb. I am an intern with Volunteers for Christ, Cornerstone Church of Knoxville’s campus ministry to the University of Tennessee, and I am also one of the new writers here on MANSPEAK. Thanks for checking out this site and desiring to grow in biblical masculinity. Towards that end, Plew has commissioned me to write devotionals on Mondays. I hope you enjoy my future postings and that God uses them to build your faith in Him and for His work on the believers behalf!

I agree with the apostle Paul as he sought to proclaim the gospel in 1 Corinthians 2:

1 And I, when I came to you, brothers, did not come proclaiming to you the testimony of God with lofty speech or wisdom. 2 For I decided to know nothing among you except Jesus Christ and him crucified. 3 And I was with you in weakness and in fear and much trembling, 4 and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.

May God use this blog for His Name’s sake,

Caleb H.

You look mighty soft, fella. I give you 4 days. Thanks for clarifying which Caleb you are. I wouldn’t want to think you are Caleb S. or Caleb B. or even Caleb M.
